My Blackview phone wasn't charging overnight when connected to my computer, even though it showed the "lightning bolt" icon that showed power in. I'm thinking the problem was that I was connecting it while the computer was suspended, so it couldn't negotiate a higher current and was stuck at 100ma. Connecting while it was running allowed it to get 500ma and now it's charging.
