In my dream, I picked up a piece of plastic litter off the road. It weighed about a pound, though it looked as though it should have weighed no more than a few grams and, startled, I dropped it. Then I tried to find it again, but it was gone. I realized that the Matrix had some form of CSS that the controllers could use to hide things, such as display: none in CSS.
