Went walking down the arroyo about sunset, and there was a rabbit less than 10 yards away, pretending to be a rock. I took careful aim, fired... and the little fucker scooted away unharmed. Damn! At least I got a dove for breakfast this morning, and there's enough left for a stirfry with some rice tomorrow.
