realized in the last few days why Isla Ballena, the little island west of Isla Espiritu Santo, is missing in my panoramas. it's because there's no data (red pixels) for the whole damned thing.
porting the Python code to JavaScript is proving difficult. so I'm punting and still putting a lot of it in Python, served locally using Python's built-in http.server module.
