it's really hard to find reliable data on where the US-Mexico border really is. I've spent hours Googling with nothing really to show for it. but one area is rather unambiguously on the US side of the border and yet within the Mexico border fence, just a few minutes walk from the San Ysidro crossing. I posted on Facebook about it.
